Latex-Free Inflation Systems - Latex-free reusable inflation systems feature Pre-GagedÎ Cuffs and Nylon BALANCEDª Bladders to address the concerns of patients and personnel who are latex sensitive. The entire system (cuff, bladder, bulb, valve, tubing) is latex-free. The bladder features a five-year warranty and is compatible with nearly all manual and automated blood pressure systems. Latex-free disposable cuffs are also available. TRIMLINE offers single or double tubes in sizes from small thigh to neonatal small.
Antimicrobial Treatment - TRIMLINEÕs reusable and disposable nylon blood pressure cuffs have the protection of an antimicrobial agent. Since blood pressure cuffs have intimate contact with almost every patient and are rarely cleaned, the treatment offers extra protection against bacterial growth, mildew, and odors. It remains effective for the life of the cuff fabric and will not be lost, even with repeated usage or laundering.
Pre-GagedÎ Cuff - Selection of a cuff that is too large or too small for a limb is a common mistake which may cause inaccurate blood pressure readings. Only TRIMLINE offers reusable Pre-Gaged Cuffs, in six sizes, with a clearly visible sizing guide on the outside to help avoid miscuffing. TRIMLINE also incorporates this design in our disposable cuffs.
BALANCEDª Bladder - An improperly placed conventional bladder, with off-centered tubes, can cause errors in blood pressure measurement and misdiagnosis of hypertension. To ensure correct positioning and full compression of the brachial artery, TRIMLINE lengthened the bladder and centered the tubes to virtually guarantee proper placement for accurate, reproducible readings on right or left arms. The latex-free nylon BALANCED Bladder has a five-year warranty.
Virtually Unbreakable Construction - TRIMLINE Mercurial Instruments are made of high impact polystyrene. Ongoing testing and continuous longterm use in the field have proven that TRIMLINE units have one of the best track records for durability. Our new Large Face Aneroid is constructed of impact resistant ABS with a strong metal base to protect the internal mechanisms. It offers a non-mercury alternative in wall, desk, and stand models.
MercLocÎ Top This unique feature locks in mercury to help remove the fear of spills caused by tampering, accidental damage, or abuse. The flush design of this top is tamperproof, yet allows cleaning and maintenance to be performed by properly trained personnel.
Acrylic Tube TRIMLINE Mercurial Instruments have a shatterproof acrylic tube with a protective mylar coating to prevent breakage. It is completely recessed and spring mounted for safety.
Extendable Tubing Synthetic rubber extendable tubing is latexfree and guaranteed for 35 years against cracking and ozone damage. Available in 5', 8', and per foot lengths.
System Compatibility TRIMLINE parts and inflation systems are interchangeable with nearly all existing manual, automated, and NIBP blood pressure systems.
